Electronic Arts is to close its studio based in the North West of England.
The closure will affect the jobs of around 50 developers - although all have been offered the chance to relocate their roles to EA's current UK development HQ in Chertsey.
EA Warrington had most recently worked on Battlefield: Modern Combat and was believed to be at work on new and unannounced projects, any work on which will now also be presumably transferred to Chertsey.
