CMP acquires The Game Initiative for US $1.15 million

Promises to enhance and expand Austin Game Conference '07

CMP Game Group has acquired conference producer The Game Initiative for US $1.15 million (EUR 915,000) and will now run its leading event, the Austin Game Conference.

CMP now hopes to expand and enhance the Austin Game Conference, due to take place September 6th - 8th 2007.
